Minecraft Due to the fact that I haven’t had any first-hand experience with the game, I decided to research the game by looking at youtubers whose careers revolve around it, to find out how and why this game is a success. After searching YouTube it became apparent that videoing yourself playing Minecraft was emerging as a small trend, surprisingly enough it was mainly done by adults. Many of the YouTube videos consisted of building tutorials as well as different hacks and features within the game. The first youtuber I came across goes by the name of TheDiamondMinecart. His YouTube videos have gained him 18 million subscribers and his YouTube videos mainly consisted of him wondering around this mine craft world dubbing over the video and talking through what he is doing with his viewers.
